Center for Independence provides two center-supported hiring programs that offer employment opportunities to young adults with disabilities. Working Together (WTC) offers paid internship opportunities at local businesses throughout the Chicagoland area to help young adults with disabilities gain corporate experience. Teaching Together (TTC) offers paid internship opportunities at faith-based schools throughout the Chicagoland area with the goal of sustained employment.

The Center for Independence offers motor training services to individuals with cerebral palsy and other conditions that limit mobility. Other programs include parenting classes, social work services, and vocational training. Programs are led by physical therapists, occupational therapists, and Conductive Education teachers.
