Police Assisted Addiction and Recovery Initiatives | ANTIOCH POLICE DEPARTMENT - A Way Out

Provides drug users a fast-track to substance abuse programs and services. If a client is in possession of any illegal or legal drugs, the representative will take them and destroy them appropriately. Criminal charges will not be sought against those seeking help. A representative will deliver a phone screening to the Lake County Health Department. Based on the evaluation, outpatient or inpatient treatment tracts will be recommended. Note: If you are unable to pay for treatment due to lack of insurance or financial resources, you will not be turned away from participation. Participant will be matched with an available treatment provider that accepts commercial insurance, Medicaid Plan, or who provides financial assistance.
