Helps to stabilize individuals and prepare them for continued treatment in an outpatient setting. Secure, 22-bed psychiatric unit staffed 24 hours/day. - Outpatient Care. May be utilized as a stand-alone resource or as a transition from inpatient care. Additional programs offering intensive treatment are available for patients with symptoms of depression or anxiety in need of short-term stabilization or immediate resolution of problem areas. Individuals may also have the choice of seeing a therapist and/or psychiatrist using video conferencing technology in Ottawa and Streator, so that patients do not have to wait for months to see someone.
