The North West Housing Partnership provides an Older Adult Home Modification Program (OAHMP) that enables low-income older adults, age 62 and older, to remain in their homes through low-cost, low-barrier, high-impact home modifications. The program aims to reduce older adults' risk of falling, improve general safety, increase accessibility, improve functional abilities, and increase independence in the home. This will enable older adults to remain in their homes, that is, to "age in place," rather than move to nursing homes or other assisted care facilities. All materials, equipment, and services are provided at no cost to eligible participants.
