Must be a Champaign County resident and must be an American Water customer, applicant must reside at address on bill, individuals requesting assistance must provide a current copy of their delinquent water bill to The Salvation Army caseworker, individual must demonstrate financial need NOT due to chronic or intentional delinquency, assistance is provided to individuals/family one time per calendar year, maximum assistance amount is 100.00
