CELL PHONES | SAFELINK WIRELESS
A cell phone program for income-eligible households. In order to participate, persons must meet certain eligibility requirements set by each state where the service is to be provided. These requirements are based on a person’s participation in state or federal support programs or by meeting the poverty level guidelines. By law only available for one phone per household.

Eligibility
You qualify for this program in Illinois if you participate in one of the following assistance programs: - Medicaid. - Food Stamps/SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program). - Supplemental Security Income (SSI). - Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF). - Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP). - Federal Public Housing Assistance (Section 8). - The National School Lunch’s Free Lunch Program (NSLP).
