ANIMAL CONTROL/ SHELTER SERVICES | MACON COUNTY

Responds to calls and aids in the rescuing of abandoned, sick or injured or stray animals.

Offers to Help find homes for adoptable animals No animal is ever turned away from the shelter regardless of health, age, breed, or temperament.

All pets for adoption will be spayed/neutered before leaving the shelter, are current on all age-appropriate vaccines and microchipped and tested for heartworms (dogs) or FELV (cats).

Macon County Animal Control has a veterinarian on staff.
