The Adult Protective Services Program is locally coordinated through 38 provider agencies?, which are designated by the Regional Area Agency on Aging and the Illinois Department on Aging. Case workers from the Adult Protective Services Provider Agencies conduct investigations and work with adults age 60 or older and adults age 18-59 with disabilities in resolving the abuse, neglect, or financial exploitation situation.
