Application process

Veterans who feel they meet the eligibility requirements and need emergency assistance should email at [email protected] with a brief synopsis of their situation, and they will email you our application.

Eligibility

Veterans must meet all the requirements listed below to receive assistance from the Disabled Patriot Fund:- Served in the United States Military- Discharged under Honorable Conditions- Primary residence must be in Illinois or is currently being seen at an Illinois Veteran's Administration facility- Sustained injuries while serving in a Department of Defense designated Combat Zone/Hostile fire area- Needed assistance is a direct cause of injuries sustained in a Department of Defense designated Combat Zone/Hostile fire area- Assistance requested pertaining to PTSD and/or TBI injuries must include a letter from the Physician stating cause and effect - and continuous care
