COUNTY CLERK OF COURT | HOWARD COUNTY OFFICES

The Clerk of Court is the custodian of all court records in law, equity, probate, criminal, juvenile, adoptions, small claims, and traffic. In conjunction with other county offices the Clerk of Court also draws grand jurors, petit jurors, and talismen. The office also provides assistance and necessary forms needed to file a petition with the court for a legal name change.

Also provides a resource for county residents who choose to represent themselves in court or have questions on divorce, child custody, paternity, and grandparent rights. This office also provides information on legal fees and costs for hiring attorneys. This office does not give legal advice.
