SENIOR COMMUNITY MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES | ASSOCIATION FOR INDIVIDUAL DEVELOPMENT
Focuses on outreach, engagement, and face-to-face counseling services for seniors. Strong community collaborations with senior providers and other social and human service organizations will foster case finding and education to identify those most in need. Participation in individual counseling sessions with a trained, mental health professional will promote recovery, independence and stability; restore personal, community living and social skills; assist with education, navigation and access to entitlements and natural supports and foster self-advocacy so seniors may identify and access appropriate community resources to enhance life quality.
