Investigates allegations of abuse, neglect, and exploitation of older adults and individuals with disabilities who live in domestic (non-institutional) settings. Abuse can be defined as physical and emotional abuse, financial exploitation, confinement/neglect, deprivation of food or medication, sexual abuse, abandonment, and self-neglect.
