EQUINE THERAPY | SUNRISE CENTER NORTH THERAPEUTIC RIDING PROGRAM

Horse therapy for a variety of people including for seniors (55 years and older) and individuals of all ages with special needs or anxiety. In addition, there is a program for children and adults with autism (this uses horses and music) and a program for veterans with physical limitations, brain trauma, and/or PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder). In this non-clinical environment the interaction between the rider and the horse is an effective and unique way of improving the physical, cognitive, and emotional disabilities of individuals.
