In-House Legal Liaison
Legal Liaison services are available to current SHALVA counseling clients. When clients understand how the legal system works and what they can realistically expect from it, they become empowered and active participants in the process. A Legal Liaison works and providing support and information to clients providing education, information and referrals. The Legal Liaison will not represent clients or handle cases.

Application process
If you are not a current client or are a former client, you must first meet with a SHALVA therapist for an assessment. To schedule an assessment, call 773-583- HOPE (4673).SHALVA does not disclose their address to the public, however, women who are in need of their services will be given the address when they call to make an appointment.
Eligibility
Women over age 18 in the Chicago metropolitan area who self-identify as Jewish and who are currently or have been victims of domestic abuse by their spouse or intimate partner.
