Staff help individuals build independent living skills such as budgeting, grocery shopping, and housekeeping. Also provides psycho-social support to help participants cope with daily stresses.
Community homes provide a family living environment where adults share a home in the community with up to seven peers, under staff supervision. The residents share in all aspects of running a group home, such as cooking, cleaning, and grocery shopping.
