The program provides five types of service. 1) Information about resources, 2) Assistance with access to services, 3) Organization of support groups, and caregiver training, 4) Respite care 5) Provision of some supplies Financial Counseling available to participants that live in New Madrid, Mississippi, Pemiscot, Scott, and Dunklin Counties.

Aging Matters' mission is to develop a coordinated delivery system of services to assist and enable older Missourians to remain in their own homes as long as possible and to enhance the quality of life for all older Missourians. Programs offered include: Nutrition program, long term care ombudsman program, in home services, paperwork assistance, legal services, assistance with hearing aids, books on tape for the handicapped, health promotion, information and assistance, tax information, transportation assistance, financial counseling, information regarding adult day care, respite care, family caregiver support program, Medicare Prescription Drug Program, and the MO Rx and other Extra Help Programs.
