Offers walk-in employment services, including assistance with registering on the state's online job matching system. customers can access job listings, resume and cover letter writing guides, interview tips, labor market information, and the Internet. Services may be provided directly or through referrals to partner agencies. Financial assistance is available for eligible individuals for up to two years of job training or vocational education in high-growth fields approved by the Workforce Investment Board of Region 15. Eligibility is determined through a vocational assessment. Some individuals may be referred to other financial aid sources, while others may receive funding from this program. After training, participants receive staff-assisted job search support, followed by up to one year of follow-up services after job placement. Training services are available to eligible youth (with a high school diploma or GED), adults, and dislocated workers.

All Individuals: (a) United States citizen or registered alien. (b) Registered with Selective Service if male, born January 1, 1960 or later. Adult Programs: (a) Age 25 or older. (b) Clients must meet low-income eligibility. (c) Preference given to low-income individuals within service area. Dislocated Worker Program: (a) Laid off or terminated from low-growth occupation within past 4 years. (b) Laid off or terminated due to business closure or substantial layoff within past 4 years. (c) Formerly self-employed but now unemployed within past 4 years. (d) Displaced Homemaker (previously dependent on spouse income but is no longer due to spouse loss of job, divorce, or death). Youth Programs: (a) Age 16-24. (b) Low income. (c) Have one or more specified barriers to employment.
