Arab-American Family Services, in collaboration with Asian Health Coalition, offers support to clients with diabetes and individuals at risk of developing it. Group classes cover how to recognize the signs of diabetes and how to live a healthier life after a diabetes diagnosis. Classes include information on maintaining a healthy diet, getting enough exercise, and keeping blood sugar and cholesterol levels within a healthy range. Clients receive A1C blood tests every 3 months to monitor blood sugar levels. Program available virtually.

Arab-American Family Services (AAFS) is a non-political, non-religious organization dedicated to building respect and understanding between Arab-Americans and mainstream American culture. AAFS provides services to more than 30 communities in the South Suburban Chicagoland area.
