Open to Veteran with non-dishonorable discharge who are homeless, Must be drug and alcohol free for at least 30 days and be able to pass testing, Pass a criminal background check. Sex offenders and some violent crimes will not be eligible, Must seek employment and work with a TLS employment specialist to become employed, Must attend training programs and group sessions at TLS property if not employed, If in addiction recovery, must attend three outside AA meetings, Must have a physical and psychological evaluation, Provide proof of a negative TB test within the first 30 days of enrollment.

Description

Offers a transitional living center for homeless veterans who want a chance to rebuild their lives. Many veterans enroll after undergoing intensive substance abuse treatment. Clients must undergo a screening process and abide by all rules while a part of the center. Graduates are encouraged to enroll in TLS-Aftercare, a program that offers ongoing support and crisis intervention within the community.
