CHILD ADVOCACY CENTER | TURNING POINT CHILD ADVOCACY CENTER

A safe, child-friendly environment where kids can talk to a trained interviewer about abuse or potential abuse. Children are referred when there is the possibility of sexual and/or severe physical abuse. After the interview, the CAC stays with the family throughout the case, providing: - Case management. - Court advocacy. - Referrals to counseling services and medical exams, when needed. Staff also goes to schools and community groups to teach prevention education and body safety to kids and adults.
