Contact (773) 583-5501 to request an appointment or for additional information. The intake process is as follows:1) You will meet with an intake specialist to review documentation and fill out intake forms2) Attend a program orientation (this is the second appointment)3) Assess your workplace skills, strengths, and weaknesses, and identify skill gaps and educational needs to help you become competitive in the labor market4) Explore career and employment options suited to your readiness, skills, and employment goals; Complete and update resume5) Job search and prepare for job interviews6) Follow-up appointments are determined pending placement

HANA Center's Workforce Empowerment helps community members and unemployed workers find and keep jobs and achieve a livable wage. Services include job counseling, training, placement, and retention. They also provide referrals to other programs offered by HANA Center that might be beneficial to you and your family, which may include ESL, computer classes, sewing classes, weatherization training, family counseling, citizenship assistance, and applying for public benefits.
