The student is an Illinois resident (must provide proof of address). The student is NOT an F-1 visa holder. Students enrolling in the citizenship class must be eligible to become a U.S. citizen within one year (Chinese class only).
Morning classes are Monday to Thursday from 8:00am to 10:00amMid-morning classes are Wednesday and Thursday from 10:30am to 12:00pm.Evening classes are Monday to Thursday from 5:30 to 7:30pm

Pui Tak Center offers ESL, citizenship and work-related classes for English language learners. Classes are offered via zoom or in-person at 2216 South Wentworth Ave. and 3000 S. Wallace Ave. Six levels of ESL are offered. Classes are seven weeks long and a new class typically starts around the beginning of January, March, May, July, September and November.
