Senior Services - Center of Concern

Center of Concern provides senior services that include Alzheimer's caregivers support groups, Medicare & senior health insurance program (SHIP), telephone reassurance / friendly visiting, senior ASK services, lunch with us (weekday meal program), memory cafe, current events discussion groups, and chore housekeeping.

Center of Concern

The Center of Concern provides housing, community, and older adult services to enable residents of suburban Cook County to live with dignity and independence. This agency also provides homelessness prevention services. For suburban Cook County residents at risk of losing their primary nighttime residence in the next two weeks or those who do not have a place to stay and are in need of emergency shelter in the next 24-48 hours, please call 877-426-6515 Monday through Friday between 8:30 am and 4:30 pm to be connected with the Suburban Cook County Call Center.This agency also refers eligible clients needing home furniture to the Chicago Furniture Bank (CFB), which does not accept walk-ins or calls for furniture requests. Individuals requesting furniture may contact Center of Concern staff to discuss further. Center of Concern staff will work to assess the client's needs and schedule an appointment on their behalf.
