Chinese Mutual Aid Association (CMAA) - Chicago provides free English as a Second Language (ESL) classes to immigrants and refugees with limited English proficiency. Classes are offered at 5 levels, from beginner to high-intermediate, and focus on preparing students for integration into the workforce and society. Higher-level students (Levels 3, 4, and 5) take civics-focused ESL classes that cover information about citizenship, health resources, and other important topics.
