Provides services to informal caregivers of adults who are age 60 or older or developmentally disabled and to grandparents and other kinship caregivers who are raising children under the age of 18. Services include informing caregivers of available services, assisting caregivers in accessing services, providing emotional support through individual counseling and support groups, and to provide training and education to assist caregivers in making decisions and solving problems related to their caregiver roles.

Virtual Caregiver Support Group on the 4th Tuesday of every month from 10:00-11:00 a.m.

Macon Memories Memory Café for individuals with impaired memory and their caregivers meets 2nd and 4th Monday at Eagle Ridge of Decatur from 1:00-2:30 pm.

Evidence-Based trainings for caregivers including Powerful Tools for Caregivers, Savvy Caregiver and Stress Busting for the Family Caregiver. These programs provide caregivers with the tools for self-care and stress reduction. Please call for dates and times.
