Scholarships | ASPIRE of Southwest Missouri

Provides $1000 college, university or technical school scholarships (per semester) to single mothers and single fathers to help pay expenses they may incur while pursuing a full-time, career-oriented education. Merit scholarship of $250 are given to those recipients achieving a GPA of 3.0 or higher during the semester.

Eligibility

Resident of Jasper or Newton counties in Missouri Must have a high school diploma or GED Single head of household with sole custody of child(ren) under age 21 years Not co-habiting with former spouse or current spouse or partner - Must be at or near poverty level - Current applicant/recipient of Pell Grant, and pursuing a full-time course of study
