Aims to keep seniors independent longer, and offer respite to family caregivers. Services include Congregate Meals/Nutrition Sites, Disability Related Transportation, Tax Preparation Assistance, Welfare Rights Assistance, Blood Pressure Screening, Specialized Telecommunications Equipment, Therapeutic Exercise, Flu Vaccines, Senior Companion Program, Exercise Classes/Groups, Recreational Activities/Sport, Computer Literacy Training Programs, Field Trips/Excursions, Health/Disability Related Support Groups, Volunteer Recruitment/Placement, In Person Crisis Intervention, Housing Advocacy Groups, Extreme Cold Warming Centers, Extreme Heat Cooling Centers, Specialized Information and Referral, and Subject Specific Public Awareness/Education.
