Serves children who demonstrate significant delays in one or more of the following areas: - Motor development. - Speech/language development. - Cognitive development. - Social emotional development. Children receive their specialized supports and services in a classroom environment that is student-centered. Teachers use scientifically based research tools and strategies to guide development in literacy, math, science, social studies, arts, and technology while supporting their social/emotional development.
