Application process

An intake will be screened into the program. If one is interested in having an intake screened for the APS program, please call Aging Care Connections during regular business hours (M-F 8:30-4:30) at (708) 354-1323 or the 24-hour Adult Protective Service Hotline at (866) 800-1409.Call to report suspected abuse, exploitation, or neglect of an older person or adult with disabilities.

The Adult Protective Services program helps vulnerable older adults and adults with disabilities experiencing abuse, neglect, or exploitation. Experienced staff investigate reports and work to prevent future abuse. Adult Protective Services staff investigate the following types of abuse: abandonment, confinement, emotional abuse, financial exploitation, passive neglect, physical abuse, self-neglect, sexual abuse, and willful deprivation.
