Citizenship Program
Chicago Public Library hosts a workshop where immigrants and migrants can learn more about their rights. This workshop will teach more about protections based on immigration status including information about U-Visa, T-Visa, VAWA, Special Immigrant Juvenile Status, Defensive Asylum, as well as the Naturalization and Citizenship process. They also discuss Renewal of Green Cards, DACA renewal information, and how to adjust one's status. Finally, information about Temporary Protected Status and removal and deportation process will be covered.
