Application process

A one-time registration is required to use the bus, residents may complete the registration form online or contact the City Clerk's office at (708) 687-4050, ext. 1000 to receive the form by mail. Once registered, call (708) 473-2925 to schedule a routine ride or (708) 535-4090 to schedule a ride to special events or to a medical appointment. Rides must be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance

City of Oak Forest provides free bus transportation to seniors (60 years or older) and disabled individuals, (18 years or older) who live in Oak Forest. The bus will pick them up at home, bring them to their destination, and return them home. Weekday transportation is provided to grocery stores, medical appointments, drug stores, restaurants, hair appointments, Senior Commission luncheons, bingo at McDonald's, and Bremen Township senior activities.
