Documentation of all meetings and phone calls relevant to the case, including receipts, copies of applications, business cards with landlords, real estate agents, property managers, insurance agents and other relevant persons.

Application process

(1) Call the main number if you think you may be victim of housing discrimination or fill out intake form on website at https://hopefair.org/intakes (2) Provide relevant documents, all meetings and phone calls with persons involved (3) If it is found that there may have been discrimination against you, a staff member will investigate (4) When appropriate, staff will assist in filing a Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) complaint and Provide referral for legal services to assist with housing case (5) Even if discrimination is not found, staff can: Advocate on applicant's behalf with a housing provider
