Application process
Reservations must be made before 3:00pm at least one day in advance by calling the Elk Grove Township office at 847-437-0300. On the day of the scheduled ride please call after 9:00am to find out the approximate pick-up time or to cancel the ride. Reservations will be accepted on a first-come first-serve basis. Inform the dispatcher when calling if you have a disability that requires the use of a wheelchair, walker, or cane

Description
Elk Grove Township provides Dial-a-Bus services with chair lifts available to transport Elk Grove Township Senior residents age 55+ and Disabled residents over 18 years of age for free to destinations within the Township boundaries using their (curb-to-curb) service. Due to insurance restrictions grandchildren are not allowed to ride on the bus. Elk Grove Township boundaries are Central Road on the North, Devon on the South, Mt. Prospect Road on the East, and Rohlwing Road on the West. Transportation to local area hospitals, Amita (Alexian Brothers) and Northwest Community are available as well.
