Emergency Assistance
Bloom Township Emergency Assistance (EA) assists Bloom Township residents to help alleviate an "Emergency" or life-threatening circumstance. Emergency Assistance does not cover security deposits or first-month rent except in individual or family displacement due to disaster. Residents who receive subsidized housing benefits may be ineligible for certain benefits.

Emergency Assistance can only be issued once in a twelve-month period where the definition of emergency is met, call for additional information.

Restricted to Bloom Township residents; Restricted to adults 18+; Must be ineligible for General Assistance; Must exhibit and document financial hardship and show an ongoing ability to cover expenses after assistance is granted
