Sinai Community Institute's Community Health Response Corps (CHRC) is a neighborhood-based initiative of Sinai Community Institute (SCI) and CDPH committed to improving health outcomes and reducing inequities across Chicago. While Sinai Community Institute proudly serves residents throughout the entire city of Chicago, their primary focus is on the nine West Side communities: Austin, Belmont Cragin, East Garfield Park, Hermosa, Humboldt Park, Lower West Side, North Lawndale, South Lawndale, and West Garfield Park. They are deeply rooted in these neighborhoods and work intentionally to bring blood pressure screenings and accessible, trusted health resources directly to the community. They also host programs such as Flex Friday: Move & Groove, a free one-hour movement session led by a Performance Trainer and held three Fridays each month at the SCI Town Hall.
