EMERGENCY SHELTER ASSISTANCE | EMPOWERMENT OPPORTUNITY CENTER
When funds are available, can shelter low-income homeless families in an area motel and provide meals for a limited amount of time. During that time, the family is required to work toward stabilizing their family and look for a more permanent place to stay. The Emergency/Transitional Housing Grant through the Illinois Department of Human Services provides for the cost of shelter and some meals.
