The Domestic Violence Law Practice at NSLAC provides free legal services to at-risk survivors of domestic violence. Domestic violence is any pattern of behavior, whether physical, verbal, emotional, or sexual, used to gain power and control over another person. The team uses a trauma-informed approach to mitigate the effects of domestic violence on survivors and their families.
