Heartland Human Care Services' Youth and Family Services partners with recently arrived refugee youth and their families to promote empowerment and self-sufficiency. They encourage respect for self and heritage, support advocacy for quality education, and foster healthy reintegration into new communities. Refugee Youth and Family Services provides a continuum of services to refugee youth, including K-12 Case Management, Family Literacy, Early Childhood Education, After School programming, Substance Use Prevention Programming, Tutoring, and Youth Mentoring. During the summer, the program offers a six-week program.
