Services are provided to families formed through
- DCFS adoption.
- Subsidized guardianship.
- Private domestic adoption.
- Foreign adoption.
- Out of state adoption.
- Intensive services are offered.
Some of the more common challenges/presenting problems include
- Attachment difficulties.
- Trauma.
- ADHD.
- Chronic lying or stealing.
- Aggression.
- Peer problems.
- Eating or sleep disturbances.
- Sexual acting out.
- Fire-setting.
- Behavioral problems.
- Wetting and defecating issues.
- Family adjustment.
- Grief resolution.
- Learning disabilities.
