COMMUNICABLE DISEASE | MACON COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT

Promotes optimal health among county residents by preventing and controlling the spread of communicable diseases. The health department conducts investigations for those diseases reportable to the Illinois Department of Public Health including, but not limited to: Hepatitis A, B, and C. Meningitis, Salmonella, Shigella, Giardia, and Pertussis (whooping cough).
