Eligibility

Open to residents of the area served, youth ages 10-21 living with mental health issues (depression, anxiety, PTSD, suicidal ideation, etc.), referral from a health care provider or community partner required, regular attendance required (8-week session)

In addition the referral and registration form, parents or guardians are required to sign an informed consent form and a Release of Information (ROI) form, which are provided by Circle of Change

Offered to at-risk youth and focuses on building life skills and promoting mental wellness through a 24-week dog training program. Participants are taught foundational to advanced dog training skills, while also engaging in self-reflection and activities to improve their social-emotional health. The program is broken into three 8-week sessions, with each session focusing on different aspects of personal growth, such as building trust, confidence, and emotional awareness.
