Youth Mentoring - Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metropolitan Chicago

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metropolitan Chicago offers youth mentoring programs by matching "littles" with "bigs". Each match is unique and creates a schedule that works for them. Their professionally trained staff provide support and outing ideas during the entire duration of the match. During outings, Bigs and Littles do everyday activities that provide children with the opportunity to discover a world of possibilities for their life.

Application process

Please visit the website to complete an intake form for the child. Once the form is completed, an orientation session will be scheduled to discuss the type of mentor that may be the best match. Following orientation, the child will be matched with a mentor.

Eligibility

The Community Based program generally matches youth between 7 and 14 years old. Once matched, youth can remain in the program until 18 years old. Please call or email for more information.
