HOME VISITING | STEPHENSON COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT
A voluntary home visiting program that provides family support and coaching for expectant parents and parents of young children ages birth to 3. The program provides guidance about child development, child safety, practical parenting skills, and family bonding. The agency's trained professionals provide regular visits based on the family's needs, preferences, and schedules. Visits may be in-person or virtual. Doula services are also available. This includes prenatal information and support, labor coaching, breastfeeding, postpartum depression support, and assistance in the early weeks after childbirth.
