Eligibility

Individuals who are disabled and have been employed and made contributions to the Social Security fund through wage deductions; Individuals who are disabled and have limited income and resources; Disability benefits are based upon medical evidence and whether the disability is expected to last a minimum of 12 months or for the remainder of the person's life.
