Missouri Bootheel Healthy Start works to reduce infant mortality and to improve the health and well-being of infants, mothers, fathers, and families in Scott, Mississippi, New Madrid, Pemiscot, and Dunklin Counties. This is accomplished through in-home case management services, outreach, education and training, and community mobilization services for consumers and providers in the project area.
