SCHOOL, PARENT, AND COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT (SPACE) CLINIC | UIUC PSYCHOLOGICAL SERVICES CENTER

Specializes in early identification, comprehensive evaluation, and evidence-based treatment in diverse children and families. The SPACE team strives to work with families to create an individualized treatment plan that is tailored to each child or adolescent. Individualized treatment programming may include cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma-focused interventions, parent guidance, family therapy, and coordination with schools for school-based interventions. Outpatient services include: 1. Diagnostic Evaluation. 2. Individualized Treatment Planning. 3. Individual, Family, and Group Therapy. 4. Parent Training & Family Workshops. 5. School Advocacy and Collaboration.

Sliding scale available ($0 - $30 per therapy session), depending on family size and income. No one is turned away for inability to pay.

Eligibility

Children ages 3-17 exposed to a traumatic event, living in adverse conditions, or struggling with other difficulties.
