Youth Employment Programs | YOUTH CONSERVATION CORPS - YouthBuild

Offers a paid work experience program for Lake County youth ages 16-24 years. Participants earn a stipend while gaining work experience in the construction trade. Prepares youth for the workforce with the following services: - Construction training and certification - Information Technology training and certifications - GED and college preparation services - Career development - Therapy - Life skills classes - Case management Also provides $1500 education award to participants who complete 300 hours of service. (NOTE: This benefit is provided by AmeriCorps, and is embedded into the YouthBuild program.)
