Mobile outreach vehicle where people can exchange used needles for sterile needles to reduce transmission. Also offers peer support meetings, education, and treatment navigation. "Look for the big purple truck!" For those in need of safe supplies (including needle and syringe exchange), please do the following: 1. Text or call 224-297-4393 2. Tell current location, including address (or the name of a building/store/service nearest) city and zip code, and the types of supplies needed 3. At that time, an outreach team member will attempt to schedule a phone or web call for harm reduction education and counseling. NOTE: This step is not mandatory to receive supplies. 4. An outreach team member will put together a supply request using gloves and other safety precautions. 5. A member of the team will coordinate a drop off, leaving the bag of supplies at the requested location. They will text when the supplies are delivered.**
