AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM | ROCKFORD PARK DISTRICT
Offers after school programs at Lewis Lemon Community Center (LLCC) and Washington Park Community Center (WPCC). LLCC After School Program: Enrichment program offered to Lewis Lemon students. Activities include homework help, board games, arts and crafts, gaming systems, and the opportunity to participate in organized basketball and football teams. A daily snack is provided. Students also have the opportunity to participate in the 1st Century Program, which offers help in reading, math, and science. The students of this program must be teacher recommended. LLCC Teen Evening Program: Offers open gym, gaming systems, and more. Staff keeps teens active and safe. WPCC After School Program: Provides an after school program for youth. A snack and boxed dinner are provided. Activities include: - Homework help. - Arts and crafts. - Gymnasium games. - Fitness. - Computer lab. - Outdoor play (weather permitting). - Cub Scouts. - Girl Scouts. - Sports teams. WPCC Teen/Tween Evening Program: Provides an evening program for teens. Activities include: - Sport team practices. - Open gym. - Computer lab access (for registered teens). - UKUU Teen Leaders Program. WPCC Saturday Program: Offers a Saturday program for youth and teens to engage with positive mentors, play in the gym, use computers, play board games, make crafts, or get homework help. Staff place youth and teens into age-appropriate groups and rotate between activities. Lunch and snack are provided.

WPCC Teen/Tween Evening Program: Youth ages 11 - 15 years old. WPCC Saturday Program: Youth ages 5 - 18 years old. Financial Assistance: - Resident of Rockford. - Youth ages 18 and under. - Adults with disabilities.

LLCC Teen Evening Program: No fees. WPCC After School Program: - Residents: $63. - Non-residents: $75. WPCC Teen/Tween Evening Program: No fees. WPCC Saturday Program: No fees. Financial Assistance: Eligible participants may qualify to receive 50% off program fees.
