Chicago Public Library celebrates Native American Heritage through events that acknowledge the traditional homelands and culture of the Ojibwe, Odawa, and Potawatomi Nations along with many other tribes that called this area home. Members of this community continue to contribute to the life of this city and to celebrate their heritage, practice traditions, and care for the land and waterways.
